

Mr. Robertson has practiced in Southern California for over twenty years. Mr. Robertson began his career with the Los Angeles and Orange County offices of the national law firm McKenna, Conner & Cuneo. Mr. Robertson was an associate with the Newport Beach office of the international law firm McDermott, Will & Emery. Thereafter, he was a partner in Darling & Robertson, LLP and its predecessor firms. Mr. Robertson received his undergraduate degree from Pomona College in 1984, where he was selected for Mortar Board. Mr. Robertson is a 1987 graduate of the University of Southern California Law School where he was a Hale Moot Court Competition Finalist.
Mr. Robertson's litigation experience includes general civil and business litigation, encompassing commercial contracts, business torts, commercial equipment leasing, real property disputes, foreclosure and title litigation, lender liability, warehouse lending disputes, auto finance, collections, partnership disputes and unfair competition.
Mr. Robertson is admitted to practice in all state courts in California and each of the U.S. District Courts in California, as well as the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association. In addition, Mr. Robertson has served in the following capacities: Orange County USC Legion Lex Board, President 1993 to 1994; USC Annual Fund Board Member, 1999 to 2008; USC Ambassador, 2005 to present; City of Newport Beach Environmental Quality Affairs Committee 1998; Board of Directors Harbor View Hills Community Association 1996 to 1998; Pomona College Orange County Club, President 1989; Board of Directors, Applied Data Communications 2001; Laguna Presbyterian Church, Elder 2008 to present, Chairman Stewardship Committee 2009; Orange County Business Group, President 2005 to 2007.
